Brandon Brimley

Founder & Executive Chef
Brandon Brimley was born on August 27, 1988, in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas—where his passion for food first began. Influenced by his grandmother, whose cooking filled the home with rich aromas and soulful flavor, Brandon developed an early appreciation for the power of a great meal to bring people together.
In 2005, at just 17 years old, he began his culinary journey as a line cook at Gusano’s Pizzeria in downtown Little Rock. It was there that he built his foundation in kitchen operations and discovered his natural talent for cooking.
At age 20, Brandon enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at Pulaski Technical College, where he was introduced to a wide range of cooking techniques, global cuisines, and the artistry behind food presentation. During his time there, he became involved in the Network for Student Success Program, participating in a Black Male Empowerment initiative that emphasized leadership, community service, and personal growth. Through this experience—and mentorship from Chef Brandon Douglas—his passion for culinary creation deepened, and the vision for his future began to take shape.
While balancing work, education, and personal responsibilities, Brandon continued to refine his craft. In 2013, he secured his first paid catering opportunity with UAMS, creating desserts that left a lasting impression. In 2014, he catered his first large-scale wedding, serving over 200 guests—an experience that marked a turning point in his career and confirmed his path as an entrepreneur.
As demand for his work grew, Brandon officially launched To the Brim Catering, a brand built on flavor, presentation, and heartfelt service. Over the years, he expanded his reach through private events, weddings, graduations, cooking classes, and community engagements.
Beyond the kitchen, Brandon has remained deeply committed to mentorship and community impact. In 2015, he joined The Stand Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on developing leaders within the community. He has also led youth cooking classes, teaching children as young as five years old the fundamentals of cooking, creativity, and confidence.
His work and dedication have earned him recognition throughout Arkansas, including features in Miss Lady Magazine and appearances on Fox 16’s Food Spotlight. He has also collaborated with local businesses and culinary spaces, including hosting cooking experiences with Eggshells Kitchen.
With over 15 years of culinary experience, Brandon—also known as Chef Too Much Sauce—has evolved his brand into Brimley Hospitality Group, LLC, a full-service hospitality company specializing in curated dining experiences, catering, bartending, and interactive culinary events.
Through signature concepts such as Munch N Mingle, Cuisine & Cocktails, and Get In The Mix Cocktail Classes, he continues to create immersive experiences designed to bring people together through food, flavor, and atmosphere.
